I found this Awesome, BIG, Galvanized piece the other day at an antique mall.........I believe it's a piece from some type of feeder.  It has a great style......ruffled edges and the perfect rusty areas.  Only $10!!

Here is a better close-up~~~this can be displayed in so many great ways!  I would love to pile it full of real white pumpkins and gourds~~~maybe some vine/berries or nuts?  I do enjoy bringing nature inside for my decor~~~
Have you found a great or unique piece lately?
Have a wonderful and blessed week~~~Roxie

  1. Just love how you styled this! What a bargain. I found an old galvanized canning tub with lid at a church barn sale a few years ago, and absolutely love it. You really can use these old pieces for so many décor ideas. I would have snagged it too:)

  2. I think it looks pretty darn cute filled with your sweater pumpkins, Roxie!

  3. Love it and such pretty fall decorations! xo Heather

  4. It looks like the perfect piece for your table, Roxie. I think it would look great filled with Fall bits and pieces!

  5. Hi Roxie, love your find:) When I was visiting our daughter, I found a couple things that I would have bought if I would have had the room to carry them home:) There is just not many places to find great items around here and when I travel I'm always thinking about smaller vehicle better gas mileage:)
    It's a win - loose, sometimes:)
Happy October . . . your display is beautiful and it is so good to see you snug in your little cottage and decorating.
    Connie :)

The fluted edges remind me of the old galvanized cupola I snagged a few years ago. Love that vintage, rusty, patina look!!

  8. Hi Roxie! You have such a good eye for antiques, and how to use them. I would look at that and think "What in the world would I do with that???"
It looks perfect on your table, and yes, I think some real pumpkins in mixed colors would look stunning. Squash too.

  13. Girl your taste... I love it! I woulda nabbed it too... Question do people sometimes look at you like you've fell off your rocker when you say things like, "Ohmygosh, would you just look at that beautiful RUSSSSSSSSSSST!" LOL And isn't it something how something old n rusty can live happily ever after ontop of a hunk of lace? It's like a match made in heaven. Have a great day chicky... you've blessed mine again.
