Flowering kale, cabbage and mums all around our porches.....tractors, hay and corn shocks adorning the countryside.......yep, it's my favorite time of year!  Life is Good~~~Blessings~~~Roxie

  3. I love all the fall colors, but it seems to have snuck up on us way too quickly this year. The leaves have already started changing colors and I'm not ready to let summer go just yet....although we took the u.g.l.y. window air conditioner out of the living room last night. Yeah! I hope you're enjoying the last of our warm days, Roxie! Lovely images.

  4. Hi Roxie, we have had such a hot summer and just in the last week we have started to have nights that have been cooling off and it feels wonderful. I was standing on the back-porch this morning around 6:30 just breathing in the cool air and longing for Fall. It is a wonderful time of year . . . not as pretty here as where you live because we don't have the Autumn color that you have in Ohio and Indiana, but we do have wonderful Indian Summer weather. The photos you pinned just set the mood perfectly for what's to come :)
    Have a lovely week.

  5. Love the fall inspiration here Roxie. Fall will be here soon. It has been cooling down in the evenings here even with it being warmer during the day so I think Fall is coming. Hope all is well my friend. Have a great rest of the week.

Love the pictures that you shared with us.
~ This morning, I had a cup of hot cocoa, and put in my "Practical Magic" cd.
I've made myself a promise that I will wait until Oct. to display pumpkins, but I am looking forward to all things Fall.

  11. Wow, what a wonderful collection of posts pointing us toward fall. Here in the North, northern Illinois, seemed likes we are just peaking summer, but already there is a crisp in the air as the tomatoes finish up. Love the pickup and the flower basket… and who can't wait for the general stores and garden shops to be filled with produce and apples. Num!

  14. Hi Roxie, Thanks for visiting my blog today and thank you also for the incouraging words. I do not look forward to this surgery but pray I go into it with the peace that passes all understanding. Jesus was a man of peace and calm....I want that peace and calm. Knowing me my blood pressure will be up and I will be nervous. Thanks again. hugs Louise
PS and fall is my favorite time of the year, only sad thing is it is a sign that winter is not far behind.

  16. Hi My Friend! Honestly? I'm not ready for fall at all! It's my favorite time of the year too, but I'm just not prepared to retire my flowers, and ditch the warm weather. That's very unusual for me, I wonder why I feel this way?
It was so good to see you on the blog recently. I was thinking of you too! I hope your cottage is looking fabulous (of course it is!) and that you and your husband are settling right in for the new season to come.
    Blessings to you always!
