  4. I used get the boys out in the rain-the youngest especially liked to jump up and down in puddles and I loved to join him. Messy afterward but so worth it! One of my favorite plaques says: Life may not be a party but while your here you may as well DANCE"

  7. Two years ago we met our daughter and granddaughters at the ocean for a long weekend. It rained every day that we were there. What did we do? We bought umbrellas and went beach-combing. It was March and a bit cold, but we had a ball. Our daughter even wore a wetsuit and went surfing. She also said later, that she had never been so cold in all of her life, LOL. I can not imagine how cold she got.
Your post is wonderful and it is always a wonderful reminder of just how very great our dear Lord is :)
    God bless you.
    Your blogging sister, Connie :)

  14. I remember playing in the rain in the middle of campus back when I was in college. And it was just a few weeks ago when it started raining on hubby and I during an evening walk and we just kept walking in the rain. I was catching raindrops on my tongue. (It wasn't hard because it was pouring!) I love the rain! I am experiencing storms in my life right now. Mom fell again yesterday and was taken to the hospital. We are seeing about moving her to assisted living. But this post is so encouraging. Thankfulness in the thunder.

  15. Hi Roxie, enjoyed your post. Boy have we had our share of rain. Knoxville, TN here, it has rained five days this making our fifth day in a row that is.. day and night. Today it changed just A bit. The morning it was raining, but by three we had heavy wet snow on the ground. The last time I went out it had stopped finally. We are expecting sunshine tomorrow and for the rest of the week. It's going to be a slippy slide in the morning and I pray people wont be playing bumper cars. Hugs to you... Cindy

We have so funny songs about rain in Dutch.

I love the spiritual lesson, you wrote.
