THE COTTAGE DOOR

The sanding of the Cottage front door has begun.  It is 85 years old but is a solid door.  We can see what the door will look like now there has been layers of stain and red paint taken off.  Of course, there is more to do but I believe the door will be beautiful when finished.

    The cottage door looks like such a sturdy one. I can't wait to see it when it's finished. I have always thought that the front door was very special. It is the welcoming point of our homes. These doors are so charming, and I especially love the last one because Jesus is right next to it. Can you imagine if He knocked on our door today?

    I loved your comment on my Barbie post, and I'm glad to hear that you had many fun times with your dolls too and still treasure those memories today.

    Love this door and love that you are keeping it and making her pretty again. Such character and history to that door. Just think of all the family and friends that have passed through that door throughout the years. I know it will be beautiful when you are done with her.
