HISTORIC CLIFTON MILL

An hour north from my home is a place called CLIFTON MILL.  It is a BEAUTIFUL, RESTORED MILL that has a restaurant, general store/gift shop.  The surroundings to this MILL is nothing short of gorgeous!  It's as if one has stepped back in time with the homes being 100+yrs. old and the heavily wooded acreage that looks as if you are in a forest.  This picture is the front of the building.......

Every year after Thanksgiving, the CLIFTON MILL has their STUNNING CHRISTMAS DISPLAY till Jan 1.  This is the back of the MILL where the creek is.  The circle in the picture is the wheel where the water goes through.  You would be standing on/in the COVERED BRIDGE seeing this view.....

This is one end of the COVERED BRIDGE......the MILL is to your right......

This is looking at the COVERED BRIDGE from the back porch of the RESTAURANT/MILL.  The pictures are nice, but don't show the true BEAUTY of this place and lights.

If you are ever in the DAYTON, OH area, just north is CLIFTON, OH.  That is where the HISTORIC CLIFTON MILL is located.  It also has other displays outside, and many other displays of historic/antique significance.  It's a WONDERFUL place to visit during the holidays!     Have a wonderful and blessed week!
JUST A NOTE.......some of these pictures are mine and some are not.....and I was not compensated in anyway to tell you of HISTORIC CLIFTON MILLS............I hope you enjoyed your visit!           Roxie

  4. Hi Roxie, I've been so busy and away from blogging for a few days . . . you have been posting some wonderful photos. You are making me very homesick for the mid-west at Christmas. There is a charm about the cold snowy winters and a warmth in the down to earth kind-hearted people. I love your Mill post and the horse drawn parade . . . you're making some wonderful memories this season :)
Have a marvelous week and do come visit.
    Your blogging sister, Connie :)
