AUTUMN DAYS

Thought I would show a few pictures of a FALL DAY mini road trip.  This is my FAVORITE time of year!  I LOVE the CRISP air and the BLUE SKIES.  The GRASS is usually GREEN and the LEAVES have begun to float to the ground.  The picture of this BEAUTIFUL CHURCH is somewhere in Indiana~~~~

Abandoned FARMHOUSE~~somewhere in Kentucky~~look at the PRETTY fretwork on this
TINY PORCH.  It wasn't much of a PORCH but someone LOVED DETAIL!

A COVERED BRIDGE near HOCKING HILLS, OHIO~~~Such Serenity!

At a Show in KY! Can you see the BEE hovering over the yellow mums? I didn't see this until after I took the picture! SWEET VINTAGE of MINE to you! Hope your weekend is BEAUTIFUL! Roxie

  8. Hi Roxie, This photos remind me so much of home. I'll always hold Indiana in my heart as home and some of my best memories are of the Autumn season. We have some trees here (all planted through the years, we are in a dessert area by nature) but nothing like Indiana. I miss the brilliant colors and the glories smells of Fall. Thank you for sharing your photography.

Well, that was a very sweet birthday comment that you left on my blog. I know that when I reach 97, I will look back and think that 67 was young, so I have decided to think it now instead. Some days I feel so good that I could take the bull by the horns, and other days my poor old back is killing me and I feel older than the hills. Fortunately the good day way out number the bad ones. Thanks for your lovely words, Connie :)

  15. What a beautiful road trip Roxie! Next time just pack lil ole me in your trunk next to the picnic basket and we'll be all set okay?! haha I love your photos. Did you find lots of goodies on your trip? The blackboard with SWEET VINTAGE stole my heart! Is it yours or did you see it at the place you stopped? I didn't get that part? If you wrote Sweet Vintage on the board, then I need you to come write on all my chalkboards coz your handwriting is goooorgeous! xoxo

    1. Hi Lea! Actually, it was 2 different road trips and the blackboard is mine. I was set-up at a show in KY and Yes, it is my handwriting on the chalkboard frame. I am keeping it for now and it hangs in my study next to my desk and computer. Thank you for the nice compliment on my handwriting. TRUST ME, I DO NOT WRITE like that all the time, only when I NEED to! I think we would make a GREAT PAIR huntin and ajunkin!! LOL! You are WELCOME anytime! Roxie

  16. Came across your blog, and I noticed the picture of the bridge in Hocking Hills, OH. I've been there a LONG time ago (I think 5th grade?!) for a class trip. I have a picture in front of it with my best friend! Small world. :)

Checkout my latest post if you get a chance, it was Menswear Wednesday today, and follow if you like!
