SWEET VINTAGE MIRRORS

It's NO SECRET~~~~~I LOVE VINTAGE MIRRORS~~~~This one is in my FOYER

This VINTAGE BEAUTY was purchased for $5.00 back in August.  It was actually longer on both sides with 2 more mirrors.  They were broken.  My talented Hubby cut the ends off, did a little touch up, and OOH-LA-LA!!

LOVE the SCALLOPED EDGING on this!  Too PRETTY!

This one is a GOODWILL find for $17.00 last spring.  I LOVE the IMPERFECTIONS!  I think it gives it more CHARACTER!  This is waiting to be hung in my Master Bedroom above the mantel headboard

Another one with the SCALLOPED EDGING.  Of course, you can see this one is in the half bath throne room!

There was more to this VINTAGE mirror but it fell apart!  I still LOVE it on my book shelf

I purchased this BEAUTY years ago (almost 20).  It's very LARGE and I have never stopped enjoying it!!    Excuse me for being a little silly!

Update on my postings/format~~~~~My computer situation has actually got WORSE!  My pictures that I recently have taken will not upload to the computer.  My postings may be MIA, but I will continue reading/commenting to my fellow bloggerette friends!  I soooo hope I can correct this soon!      From one sweetie to another~~~~~~Roxie

  14. Hi Roxie, so happy to have found your lovely blog via Connie at Crafty Home Cottage!
I adore all your mirrors, especially the scalloped edge mirrors and the etched design ones - I have never seen the wavy edge ones in the UK but now I'll have to search and hope to find some!
I have a few ornate vintage carved and gilded ones which I love, that I have picked up at boot fairs for a few pounds, but its your elegant wavy edged ones that have caught my eye.
    Thanks for sharing

  21. Hi Roxie, These mirrors are great. I especially like the one that you are hanging over your headboard. The self portrait is a marvelous addition to this post. It certainly adds that little personal touch :) I do hope you get your computer problems solved, soon. It is always a bit of a hassle when the thing is misbehaving.

I think it is kind of cool that we both have an old school house clock in your kitchens. I love ours! It brings back memories of school days and there is no excuse for being late with a big black and white clock face like that one :) So, you grew up in the pallet business. How interesting . . . have you ever visited the Blue Velvet Chair blog and looked at their ideas for using pallets? It is incredible. I have them on my blog-list if you want to click and visit.
Have a day filled with joy and happiness.
    Your blogging sister, Connie :)

  24. The etched mirrors are great as are the scalloped edge ones. I have an antique mirror that used to be on a dresser but is now hanging on my fireplace. The imperfections are numerous and wonderful in it too!
