~~~ANTIQUE VINTAGE CHINA POTTING STICKS in the GARDEN~~~



I have made these pretty VINTAGE POTTING STICKS for years. They are too SWEET and perfect gifts or your own garden. All you need is old spools (small, med. or large) and find a PRETTY piece of china~~tea cups, saucer, sugar, creamer or anything that you like and glue (waterproof) and put in your FLOWER POTS or GARDEN! Use larger antique spindles or thin furniture legs if putting directly in the mist of tall flowers...the potting stick will show better





Also, thought I would show you these PRECIOUS, VINTAGE SHOO-FLY FOOD COVERS. (Sorry, not a very good picture). I found 3 of them...TEAL, SOFT BLUE-GREEN and PINK! I LOVE THEM..$3.00 for all!

    Those covers are a great buy! I have a tea cup bird feeder I got at a friends store, even has a spoon glued to it.

    Good Morning Roxie, Your potting sticks are adorable. I've never seen these anywhere before. I hope you don't mind if I use this idea. Well, I looked at your little trailer, it was so cute and in very good condition. What I liked most about that post was halleluiah, the Lord is good.     Hi Roxie, I can't get enough of these potting sticks . . . I just think they are the cutest things I've seen in such a long time. Thank you for stopping in and your encouraging words on my new blogging venture. I don't think it will gather many followers, but if it helps a few people find some good songs . . .it's worth it. It is hard for beginners to find good music, and if you don't have something new to learn it soon gets boring and the fun runs out.     Roxie, Thanks so much for following my little guitar playing blog. I hope that this does stir-up the interest that your husband had to learn guitar. It is so much fun and it's the instrument that is portable enough to play on the front porch and carry on camping trips.     lOVE THEM! They are right up our alley Roxie....which glue do you use? We've used some that pops right off after a bit, so we'd love to know what you have luck with!
    (love those shoo-fly covers...but now they've got me thinking of shoo-fly pie, which I haven't had in ages.....now I think I'll go find the recipe ~ lol!!)

      The best I've used is GORILLA GLUE-be careful tho because it expands...also a tacky glue or super glue. Use something that water will not effect. From one sweetie to another~~~Roxie
