I found this handmade wood "PEACE" symbol at the OHIO VALLEY ANTIQUE MALL the other day. I'm not really in to that hippee stuff from the past, but I couldn't help myself~~~~It was CUTE and PINK!

But PEACE is a GOOD thing~~~so I hung it on my CHURCH ATTENDANCE BOARD. I already had the word "BELIEVE"~~~I think they compliment each other well~~~~GOD gives PEACE of MIND, PEACE that passes all understanding~~~PRAYING for PEACE in this NATION and LET's PRAY for the PEACE of JERUSALEM. All things are POSSIBLE with GOD for those who BELIEVE! From one sweetie to another~~~Roxie

THE MYSTERY TREE~~~~aka~~~~nicknamed "THE BROCCOLI TREE"

My neighbor was having a tree cut down (approx 100 yrs old) the other day. He had no choice~~it was dying and a large part had fallen. The NURSERYMAN/TREEMAN noticed my tree (as so many do, when they drive up my gravel lane). He walked over to admire and get a closer look! What a BEAUTIFUL MULBERRY TREE!! (he said). I've never seen one quite like this!! So there you have it! AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, it's a MULBERRY TREE! It is approx. 50-75 years old!

Standing underneath it~~~it canopies up and out. Sorry, I can't get the FULL effect with the camera. It's like standing underneath a LARGE GREEN UMBRELLA! This was a NICE DAY! THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HATH MADE, LETS REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT! From one sweetie to another~~~Roxie

CHURCH SISTERS WEEKEND GET-A-WAY

Went on a weekend get-a-way with my CHURCH SISTERS to LOUISVILLE, KY this past weekend. We had a BLAST!! There were 21 of us. We SHOPPED till we DROPPED, enjoyed the HOT TUB and POOL, EAT great food, played games and had some ANNOITED SPIRITUAL time together! I regret not taking more pictures, but having too much FUN!

MY FABULOUS FIND POTTING SINK

I came across this VINTAGE ENAMEL CAST IRON DOUBLE SINK at an ESTATE sale the other day~~~

I've never seen a SINK like this! The underside is imprinted "HOOSIER MFG. CO" Columbus, OH. Very UNIQUE to me! It's 42 inches wide, with a back splash and I think has a little bit of a RETRO-LOOK! I LOVE this so much, it is going to replace my other one inside my ARBOR! Looking for a UNIQUE BASE~~and BEST of ALL, it was a whopping $5.00!! (plus my hubbys hard work getting it out of a basement~~~thats PRICELESS!) Anyone ever seen a VINTAGE ENAMEL DOUBLE SINK like this? From one sweetie to another~~~Roxie
