Fall will be here before we know it........just a week away! I am actually looking forward to it because it's my favorite time of year! Here are a few pics that remind us so................
"The Crowning Pumpkin"
Mums in an old double washtub
extra large sunflower from my garden a few years ago.........the biggest, best one I ever grew!
The beautiful sweet, stillness of a church decorated for Fall
I took this pic somewhere in Kentucky
Are you looking forward to Fall? Have a wonderful and blessed week~~~Roxie

Oh yes, I love autumn...been in a "fall" mood for a couple of weeks already. Going to change the banner on my blog to a "sunflower" with a bee sitting on it. Took the pic yesterday, although I should do it today because the sun is shinning....Cheers!!
ReplyDeleteAfternoon Roxie, wonderful time of year, great golden days......Beauiful pictures, love the church decorated for Fall, Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteHi Roxie, we are looking forward to Autumn, too. I must say that I miss the Midwest this time of year. Here in the desert we have trees, but they are planted trees in yards, we have no woods, in our area. Steve and I are planning a little road trip up north to see some color in a couple weeks. I'm really looking forward to it :)
ReplyDeleteHi Roxie,
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to fall too. I am starting some decor out outside but my summer is still holding strong with the flowers. Loved all the pictures. I am excited to post you on spotlight this coming Saturday. It will be so wonderful.

ReplyDeleteRoxie...I am so ready for Fall. I put out my Fall décor yesterday. My Fall shows will be here soon and I can't wait to do them...and also can't wait to just go shop at a few other Fall shows.

My favorite time of the year.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. Fall, my most favorite time of year.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you,

Hi Roxie! I love FALL! I think it's a lot of people's favorite season. The smells, the colors, the cooler temperatures...just heavenly. I really enjoyed the photo of the pumpkin with the crown. That's so cute!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday!

Your pics are so pretty! The washtubs look amazing with the mums! I prefer warmer weather, but I have to admit I like the look of fall decor :)

Hi Roxie....thanks for the kind words on my blog....I like the way you put it...."I have a little house in paradise" I remember when we first bought the house 22 years ago...God lead us to this house and he spoke to my heart saying "it would be all that we would need" and this house has proved it.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I do wish it had come with a "dishwasher" but I guess I have to settle for doing those dishes....least that means we have had plenty to eat. Lots of dishes = lots of food
Dear Roxie - love your pictures of fall...the mums in the old washtub are priceless. Thanks for getting me set to go - God Bless You friend - have a great week-end.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the church, Roxie :)

Roxie,
ReplyDeleteI love the 'CROWNING PUMPKIN"! You know, I have a thing for crowns, so that caught my eye right away. What a sweet church with the pumpkins all around.
Have a nice Fall weekend. It's my favorite season too, Roxie.
Love,
~Sheri
Fall is my favorite season! I'm a new follower and I found you via Junk Chic Cottage's spotlight on you. I am also a cancer survivor, Ovarian Cancer stage 3B, in remission almost 2 years now. It's also a miracle of God and so incredibly grateful to Him for giving me healing and new life. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to fall--the brilliant colors flaming across the countryside! I love taking photographs and even have been selling blank greeting cards with my photos on them! Fall colors will be a wonderful line. Many photos are on my website. Selling the cards and framed and unframed photos is providing my niece's 5 yr old daughter a fund for when she turns 18 (my niece died in Aug at 36). Photography elates me, makes me feel so close to God when I am out there taking shots of the beauty he has provided us!
ReplyDeleteI love your autumn pictures! So pretty and you can almost feel the crispness in the air! Sunflowers are one of my favorites too.
