Anyone who has ever faced dark storms in your LIFE.........knows what this means too.....
I thank GOD everyday of my LIFE, for making me a STRONGER person than I thought I could ever be, for his AWESOME LOVE, for HEALING my body, for his MERCY and GRACE.....for without him, I am NOTHING.....
HOSEA 10:12-Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and RAIN righteousness upon you

ReplyDeleteI love splashing in the puddles of life. Woo Hoo.
ReplyDeleteYou have been blessed with miracles, my friend.
ReplyDeleteSo much sweeter are the little things in life.
Like dancing in the rain :)
May you continue to feel the blessings of our Heavenly Father, and continue
to appreciate the little blessings in life, and continue to remind us all of how precious life is .
friends,
K.
I used get the boys out in the rain-the youngest especially liked to jump up and down in puddles and I loved to join him. Messy afterward but so worth it! One of my favorite plaques says: Life may not be a party but while your here you may as well DANCE"
ReplyDeleteGreat post- I loved playing in the rain as a child and now I pull the grandkids out in it. We really love big storms that move in from across the bay- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteTrue story. I've washed my hair in the rain before!
ReplyDeleteTwo years ago we met our daughter and granddaughters at the ocean for a long weekend. It rained every day that we were there. What did we do? We bought umbrellas and went beach-combing. It was March and a bit cold, but we had a ball. Our daughter even wore a wetsuit and went surfing. She also said later, that she had never been so cold in all of her life, LOL. I can not imagine how cold she got.
ReplyDeleteYour post is wonderful and it is always a wonderful reminder of just how very great our dear Lord is :)
God bless you.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)

ReplyDeleteI haven't played in the rain since I was a little girl, but I sure remember having a lot of fun when I did!!
ReplyDeletehugs,

Great post Roxie!! One of my favorite memories with my kids is grabbing our wellies and heading out to play in the puddles and the rain when they were little....great times!!
ReplyDeleteHi Roxie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post. I remember when I was younger that I loved walking in the rain. Maybe I'll try that again.

I used to jump in rain puddles with my boys. It was always a fun time!!
ReplyDeleteI remember playing in the rain in the middle of campus back when I was in college. And it was just a few weeks ago when it started raining on hubby and I during an evening walk and we just kept walking in the rain. I was catching raindrops on my tongue. (It wasn't hard because it was pouring!) I love the rain! I am experiencing storms in my life right now. Mom fell again yesterday and was taken to the hospital. We are seeing about moving her to assisted living. But this post is so encouraging. Thankfulness in the thunder.
ReplyDeleteHi Roxie, enjoyed your post. Boy have we had our share of rain. Knoxville, TN here, it has rained five days this making our fifth day in a row that is.. day and night. Today it changed just A bit. The morning it was raining, but by three we had heavy wet snow on the ground. The last time I went out it had stopped finally. We are expecting sunshine tomorrow and for the rest of the week. It's going to be a slippy slide in the morning and I pray people wont be playing bumper cars. Hugs to you... Cindy
ReplyDeleteA special post Roxie. And I think you now: the Netherlands is a country with rain, rain, rain!
ReplyDeleteWe have so funny songs about rain in Dutch.
I love the spiritual lesson, you wrote.
I love playing in the rain too especially when it's really warm out.
ReplyDelete:)
Kinda makes ya wanna go buy some PINK rainboots doesn't it? They'd look cute too parked under that gorgeous swing!! lol
Beautiful post Roxie and I love the scripture from Hosea about breaking up our fallow ground. It's one of my favorites.
