MY FABULOUS FIND POTTING SINK

I came across this VINTAGE ENAMEL CAST IRON DOUBLE SINK at an ESTATE sale the other day~~~

I've never seen a SINK like this! The underside is imprinted "HOOSIER MFG. CO" Columbus, OH. Very UNIQUE to me! It's 42 inches wide, with a back splash and I think has a little bit of a RETRO-LOOK! I LOVE this so much, it is going to replace my other one inside my ARBOR! Looking for a UNIQUE BASE~~and BEST of ALL, it was a whopping $5.00!! (plus my hubbys hard work getting it out of a basement~~~thats PRICELESS!) Anyone ever seen a VINTAGE ENAMEL DOUBLE SINK like this? From one sweetie to another~~~Roxie

  14. Hi Roxie, Your sink is very cool and very unique. What I liked was it's a Hoosier sink, made in Ohio, LOL. I wonder if you can find a Buckeye sink made in Indiana.
In regard to the comment you left on my blog:
I make my stencils on my Provo Craft Cricut. They can be very expensive, but mine is the first model and you can find them pretty cheap, just ask around. You may even have a friend that up dated to a newer model and has an old model stashed in the back of their closet, or even ask on Craig's list. As long as you have one good alphabet cartridge you can make stencils that say anything you want and with letters from 1 inch to 5 1/2 inches tall. That's what mine does, but like I said it is the oldest model, the newer one do even more. They even have a model made just for cutting fondant frosting. You name it, they make it, these days. Good luck finding a cheap deal. If it's used , try it out before buying.
Have a great week, Connie :)

  16. Hi Roxie, every time I open your blog, I just want to grab my book and a bottle of cold water and spend my afternoon sitting on your beautiful pink swing. It is so shading and peaceful there, I can almost hear the birds singing.
Thanks for telling me about Kelly. I am now following her blog, too. She sounds like such a sweetheart, and it will be fun following their farming adventures. Have a great day, Connie :)
