  1. What nice before and afters..love them both. Doesn't that white paint change the entire feel of that vanity..for the better? It was nice before but is so fresh now.

Love your beautiful fern in the background, you must have had it for years! xo

    1. actually, i have had the fern since oct. of 2011. My sister-n-law gave it to me. She was also amazed how big it has become. Guess it likes being in the corner of my kitchen.

  2. Great job of rescuing and renewing these treasures! Love the chalkboard idea!
After reading the previous comment I had to go back and look for the fern! Guess I'm not very observant because I never saw it! Haha. But it IS beautiful!
Have a great "rest of the week"!

  11. Thanks for sharing your smart idea with the door! I'm thinking of making one myself out of a cabinet door in my kitchen. Perfect for writing things to remember or a sweet word for the hubby or the children to read in the morning while having breakfast :). I will be following your blogg, feel welcome to visit and follow mine if you like. It's in swedish, though, but the pictures are in english ;). It's about my little shop where I sell things I crafted.

    Have a wonderful day!
