THE OAKLEY FANCY FLEA...........

I was invited to bring my canned ham "Sweetie" to an upscale flea market in a suburb of Cinti. It is called The Oakley Fancy Flea.
I have been getting ready the last few days so I decided to show you a few potted items I am taking.
This is a vintage linseed oil can I found sometime back.  An elderly gentleman had several cans that he had saved, cut, and re-used on his work bench.  This was the last one I have.  My hubby liked this can a lot, so I would pot it with mums in the Fall.

This is a large galvanized pig feeder I found on the longest yard sale.  This is wonderful for the garden or front porch.  I would have preferred to have a smaller plants at the bottom of the feeder.  You would have been able to see the design better.  But for now.......

Look at this sweet orange metal dump truck!  Rough, I know.......but so cute with some dirt and sedum for fall!

How about a round tray of vintage bow ties in their original case??  The original price is still on there.....a whopping .59 cents ea!   Funny!

A LITTLE TRIP...........

I've been away for a few days visiting a friend in Dandridge, Tenn.  So since one of my favorite things to do is visit these small quaint towns, I thought I would show you pics of my travel.

This is the BEAUTIFUL Roper Mansion.  Right now, it is an antique shop.  It has 3 levels and the back of the home has complete double porches  (longer than the front of home)  It is gorgeous!  These pics do it no justice.

                   This is the Shepherd Inn.  This is also in downtown Dandridge.

                   This historic home is built around the "original, log cabin inn" inside!!

                                 The Maxwell House.........a very cute shop and boutique!

               And this is a residence in town.....just up from the Roper Mansion.  Very Nice!

I thought I would post a few kitchens off of pinterest.   What I love about this kitchen is the white, the farmsink and the contrast with the big, beautiful chalkboard!  Of course, the vintage stove is awesome!

LOVE the counter bar!  Those French style chairs are adorable and look at the simplicity of the enamel top table as an island........I think the mix of lighting is wonderful!

The touches of PINK and the contrast of the BLUE is so pretty here!!  Look at the light above the sink!  This kitchen is soooo sweet!

Who can't resist the green accents in this farmhouse kitchen!  LOVE the farmhouse sink and the window that opens!  A little lace and wicker with plants from the garden.......lovely!

A FRIEND, GOOD BOOK and TEA........

My ARTFUL BLOGGING magazine/book arrived Friday.  I won this beautiful book from Kris at JUNK CHIC COTTAGE   www.junkchiccottage.blogspot.com

ARTFUL BLOGGING did an article on Kris' beautiful home!!  This lady has so much decorating talent and creativity....it knows no bounds! (I love her laundry room).  She also has a love affair with old doors!  If you have never visited Kris' blog, please do!!
Besides her home being so lovely, her gardens are just as beautiful........

Upon receiving my beautifully wrapped book, Kris had enclosed this darling note card!!  As you can see, it is a tea pot with a raspberry herbal tea packet!  LOVE it!  Such a thoughtful person.......

This is an INSIDE SHOW!!
Mark your calenders!  This is located less than an hour from Cincinnati, and less than 2 hours from Indianapolis

MY FABULOUS FINDS ON THE LONGEST YARD SALE!!

Just a few pics of the FABULOUS Finds on the Rte 127 longest yard sale........This vintage wrought iron piece was my FAVORITE!  Very Unique and it's one piece!

I LOVE how the seating curves around.....I think it has a FRENCH look!  I have the white cushions that go in the seats as well.  They are in excellent shape!

Look at this VINTAGE CUTIE!  This would make a great  ladies tool or storage cabinet or a portable tea/drink cabinet cart on wheels!!  See the handle bar(s).....the blue-green is the ORIGINAL color!  This could be used for so many different things........

An antique white and chippy iron bed..........DARLING!!

How about some STEAM PUNK look??  (sorry pic is sideways)

A set of wash tubs....WHOO-HOO!   A store display rack........and 2 great white pillar columns!!  There is a lot more but these were some of the best finds!
I had a wonderful time but after 3 days out junking, I was glad to stay home.
